This Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich recipe brings the perfect balance of crispy Southern-fried chicken, creamy coleslaw, tangy pickles, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle, all stacked on a buttery brioche bun.

Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved into 4 cutlets)
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper, to taste
Vegetable oil, for frying
½ cup honey
1–2 tbsp hot sauce
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
4 brioche buns (toasted)
1 cup coleslaw (premade or homemade)
Dill pickle slices
Butter (optional, for toasting buns)

Instructions:
1: Marinate the chicken cutlets in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2: In a shallow dish, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.
3: Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
4: In a small saucepan, warm honey over low heat. Stir in hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Simmer for 2 minutes and set aside.
5: Butter and toast the brioche buns if desired. Layer coleslaw on the bottom bun, then add fried chicken, drizzle with hot honey, and top with pickles. Add the top bun and serve.
